Hi
and Welcome to Mysnapz, An unashamed showcase for my Photography
and art.
For
a long time I have wanted to visit the H R Giger Museum in Switzerland
so this month I have set a new gallery with a few images from my
trip. It was a great experiance to see his art first hand, and adds
another dimension to images I have only seen online or in books,
if you're a fan then it is well worth the visit.

May 2009 Two
images the first
Wonderland
thought this made a very surreal image with the gothic building
and the pink rabbit,
the second Pleasure
& Delight even in a storm, shot on the beach at
Brighton where this ride never seems to stop.
2nd
April 2009 Pleased
to bring you three new Street images this month, Magpie
Lane was taken in my home town of Oxford, Nice
Tee and Tourist
were taken on a trip to London, they are all part
of a bigger series of images on street photography.

March 2009 Nice
of you to drop in. This month I have a bit of a ecliptic mix of
images, they have all been given the Photoshop treatment, with a
mix of filters and textures. Fruit
Bowl is a bit of a mimic of some of the images going
round the exhibitions at the moment, Together
again fits my dark image theme and Truck
just gets the treatment to give it that aged feeling.

Got up at 5am with an early morning pass to take some pictures and
took a trip to Stonehenge , the pass allows full access to the site
for a limited numbers of visitors. The sunrise brought some nice
picture opportunities I have posted my favorites for you to see
here, for details check out the English

The start of a new year and I have something a little different
for you.
I started
out looking into the work and techniques of Photographer
Dave
Hill some how on the way I got a little side tracked
and produced the effect used on my Portrait Harry.
not quite Dave Hill but interesting enough to feature here.

its been a bit of a eclectic year photography wise, with a mix of
subjects from street, Landscape, Portrait and wildlife, with a little
image manipulation thrown in.
On that note I have
four images that combine a few filter techniques and some of my
resent street images, For
Hire, Hair
Cut, Tea
& Chips and Pies.

A few images this month from recent photographic trips, the birds
a Great
Gray Owl and a Barn
Owl were taken at the Mid Wales Falconry near Welshpool
Wales, the Red
Deer were taken at Richmond Deer
Park in London on a early morning trip, not exactly wildlife in the
wild but still two enjoyable trips with some pleasing images.

images this month taken at a local wildlife park, Can't help but feel
a little sadness for all these captive animals. Amur

I have two Landscapes for you this month, Happisburgh
lighthouse found on a trip to Norfolk, and Hartland
Quay taken on a wet day in North Devon. both show very
different aspects of the UK coastline. I will add them both to my
shop.

Just one image to share with you this month Picnic
was taken a while ago but has been treated to a little HDR to create
a fun feeling picture. This
image has also just be selected as one of the finalists in the Curry's
Our Lives Competition, check out their web site and
the other images in the competition, you can see all the images
on display at the Mall
Gallery London between August the 9th and the 16th.

2008 Bit late this month,
been away enjoying the sun in Italy, back in cold old England now
watching the rain : (
This months updates are two images from a trip to Brighton, a wonderful
seaside location, somehow I seem to have captured the darker more
frightening side of the place with my images Dark
days and Wait!
