visited crufts the International dog show , well this month I have
been to the National poultry show here in the UK, so no dogs here
just chickens and their, just as fanatical owners, here are a few
shots from the day.

2011 Just a few more
images from the Calgary Stampede, this time the barrel
racing event, the riders race up the arena and around
three barrels making a final sprint to the timed finish gate, a very
exciting event to watch and capture you can see other barrel racing
images in my stampede gallery.

In
risk of driving you all mad with my images from the Calgary Stampede,
I thought I would go back to some pictures from an explore I did last
year, this greenhouse
was all that was left of a small market gardening business slowly
being reclaimed by the brambles and nettles.

I have just finished sorting my images from the
Calgary Stampede, with so many it seamed a good idea
to publish a book to pull some of them together and allow me to bore
all my friends with, of course you can get your own copy.

passed without posting my update sorry to everyone who dropped in.
August sees me back in the saddle having spent 2 week in Canada, the
second shooting the Rodeo
at the Calgary Stampede as you can imagine I have few thousand shoots
to sort so before I get lost in that task, here are a few I have already
selected.

June 2011 No Matter what I do
with my photography and as you can see I enjoy a lot of different
types, I always come back to Photo Art, of all the types of digital
photography for me it still remains the most creative and self expressive,
my latest image is titled Possession

up at 4:15am this May Morning to catch the even to calibrate the beginning
of spring in out town center , see my Colour

few images from a visit to Crufs a international dog show held here
in the UK this is my second visit so I was prepared for the low and
mixed light sources, I was also determined to shoot something a little

A big thanks to Caroline
for letting me take her picture and for being such a natural model,
allowing me to capture just the look and feeling I wanted in her portrait.
perhaps this is the start of another avenue for my photography.

Just
a single shot from an abandoned
workshop I discovered, nothing left behind but this sofa
and a few off cuts of timber, I liked the feel of the place with the
light streaming in and a few creepers slowly reclaiming the space.
Its
always nice to see your work appreciated by others, The Band Division
has just used my artwork Embrace
as their latest album cover.

This year I start with a few pictures taken on a trip up to London
to see the Beauty in Decay Exhibition, a exhibition of photographs
taken in abandoned place around the world, checkout the
book it’s full of fantastic images and some interesting
theories why we are drawn to these places.
It was strange then, how we found this building with its industrial
feel, I know it has been photographed many times but in the fading
light of the day I was pleased to get some moody shots perhaps they
will be the inspiration to find a real industrial setting for some
photography.
